The monthly challenge consists of 10 different exercises with 50 reps of each exercise done as quickly as possible. If the athlete can complete all the reps of each exercise they are challenged by how fast they can finish. Some of my athletes are just beginners and their challenge is to just complete the 50 reps of each exercise. We fondly call it "Cindy's Filthy 50!!" The month of December 2008 started a new monthly challenge called the "12 minute sell-out!" It is based on 6 exercises done for one minute each as fast as possible for two rounds. It is only 12 actual minutes of exercise, but it is the ultimate test of how far a person has come or how far a person has to go. The goal is to totally sell-out each minute and leave nothing on the table. It has been my experience both personally as well as witnessing others that if you are still standing at the end of this work-out you must be in really great shape! The summer of 2012 has started a new challenge. We are working on our "planks" this month. I will keep you posted on who is winning this contest. The current winner is Carly Jo with a time of 4 minutes 4 seconds!
